Imperial Blue (popularly known as IB) is one of the world's highest-selling blended whiskies and the flagship brand within the value segment of the Indian spirits market. Launched in 1997 by Seagram's and subsequently managed by Pernod Ricard India, the brand achieved legendary status through its memorable marketing campaigns. In late 2025, Pernod Ricard finalized an agreement to sell the Imperial Blue brand and its associated trademarks (including Imperial Red and Imperial Black) to Tilaknagar Industries, marking a significant transition in its corporate heritage. The blend is meticulously crafted by marrying imported Scotch malts with select high-quality Indian grain spirits. Aged in seasoned oak barrels, it delivers an exceptionally smooth, approachable, and balanced palate.
