Talisker 10 Yrs

Talisker 10 Yrs is the benchmark peated single malt expression from the legendary Isle of Skye distillery, revered globally for its untamed coastal soul. Distilled near Carbost on the shores of Loch Harport, it is double-distilled in unique copper pot stills and aged for a minimum of ten years in seasoned oak casks under Skye's wild weather conditions. This slow maturation creates an incredibly complex, robust single malt that captures the marine elements of the island. It pours a radiant, deep amber-gold in the glass, immediately releasing strong aromas of heavy peat smoke, fresh sea salt brine, sweet barley malt, and a bright citrus zest. On the palate, it is exceptionally full-bodied and richly textured, revealing a sweet, honeyed malt base that is swiftly layered with dried fruits, intense peat smoke, and a legendary, warming explosion of cracked black pepper and barley on the long, dry finish.
