Laphroaig 10 Year Old is the foundation of the Laphroaig range and the classic Islay single malt Scotch whisky, matured for ten years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. It pours a gleaming gold color and is celebrated globally for its uncompromising, full-bodied, and deeply peated profile. The nose is incredibly bold and smoky, displaying peat smoke with heavy medicinal iodine, seaweed, and a crisp, clean sea salt salinity. On the palate, it delivers a massive burst of pungent smoke, salt, and black pepper, which gradually gives way to a surprising sweet maltiness and creamy vanilla oak, finishing with a spectacular, long, and warming peat dry finish.
