Laphroaig Select Single Malt Whisky

Laphroaig Select is a highly complex and approachable expression of Islay single malt Scotch whisky, crafted by uniquely marrying spirits matured in five distinct cask styles: Oloroso Sherry butts, Pedro Ximénez Sherry hogsheads, Quarter Casks, first-fill American Bourbon barrels, and new charred American Oak. It pours a glittering golden amber color. The nose is highly sophisticated, presenting soft peat smoke balanced by sweet citrus, red apples, and a rich, honeyed fruitiness. On the palate, Laphroaig Select offers a slightly gentler, more well-rounded introduction to the classic Laphroaig peat, displaying notes of sweet peat, soft vanilla, warm oak spices, and a delightful, lingering sweet peat finish with subtle oak notes.
