Sikkim Gold Prize Rum (colloquially Sikkim XXX Prize Rum) is a legendary, highly celebrated mountain dark rum crafted by the historic Sikkim Distilleries Limited in Rangpo, East Sikkim. Authentically distilled from premium sugarcane molasses in the cold foothills of the Himalayas, it is aged gracefully in hand-selected oak barrels to develop a deep, rich, and full-bodied spiced character. It pours a magnificent dark mahogany with ruby glints in the glass, opening with an intense and warming nose of sweet brown sugar, toasted vanilla bean, zesty citrus peel, and warm oak wood. On the palate, it delivers an exceptionally smooth, velvety texture layered with luscious flavors of sweet black treacle, baked yellow bananas, dark raisins, and mild mountain spices like cinnamon and cardamom, culminating in a spectacularly long, satisfying, and warm finish. Perfect for cold evenings, it is best enjoyed neat, with a splash of warm water, or mixed into warm toddies and highballs.

“A highly sophisticated Rum by Sikkim. Wonderfully smooth on the throat with subtle hints of Deep Sugarcane Molasses and Dark Raisins & Spiced Plum. Serving this neat during a family gathering in Hazratganj was a major hit, especially alongside local Chicken Shami Kebab!”

“I'm thoroughly impressed by Sikkim's execution here. The palate is extremely rich with a refined finish highlighting Warm Mellow Oakwood. At the Lucknow price of ₹700, it's easily one of the best choices in its segment paired with Baked Sandesh.”
