Johnnie Walker XR 21 is an exceptionally rich, complex, and luxurious blended Scotch whisky aged for a minimum of 21 years. Originally created to honor the prestigious knighthood bestowed upon Alexander Walker II, the grandson of John Walker, by King George V in 1920, this masterpiece is crafted using a rare three-stage blending process. It incorporates exceptionally matured malt and grain whiskies aged for at least 21 years, featuring extremely rare stocks from silent distilleries whose records have passed into history. The liquid pours a stunning deep mahogany in its magnificent, heavy crystal decanter. The nose is incredibly complex, offering sweet honey, spiced raisins, vanilla, and old oak wood. On the palate, it delivers a dense, velvety, and luxurious texture filled with rich golden syrup, dark dried figs, warm cinnamon, sweet clove, and a long, rich, and warming finish with a whisper of mature Speyside smoke.
